His tattoo translates to ‘faggot’. WHY

Because i am one.

…do you speak or have any connection to Arabic? Can I wonder that out loud?

No I don’t. What i do have though is a connection to every gay male all over the world who has had this word, or something very similar, yelled at them from a car, or outside a club on the street, or walking home holding their boyfriends hand, or while being physically assaulted, with an intention to hurt and insult. By having this word tattooed on me, it means i OWN the word, ALL the words homophobes wanna use. I no longer find them insulting, therefore i can’t be insulted by them. I chose arabic, not because I’m a ‘stupid white male’ or because ‘i think its pretty’ but because i wanted it on me with as much hate as possible, to really drive home the point of getting it in the first place. I’m pretty sure the homophobe who uses this word on someone in Kuwait is literally spitting angry, hateful venom of the worst possible kind. I’ve had many arabs email me telling me that this word means ‘gay, but in a very insulting way’, so i chose the perfect word. This tattoo is for me, for them, and for you too @clockenfrau if you happen to be a faggot that’s ever experienced homophobia.

Ten myths about affirmative action (via linzyxxxxx)

This is EXTREMELY blatant on college campuses. The fact that these things need to be clarified is sad.

(via newwavefeminism)

Legacy is the real affirmative action…and yet we don’t see certain types of entitled people suing to dismantle that.
